The University of Alabama isn't simply where I went to school or the team I cheer for, it's who I am. I have attended 139 (and counting) consecutive Crimson Tide football games. Also, I was a senior in high school the last time I wasn't at a Crimson Tide home game. I've missed weddings, funerals, holidays and other family functions to watch Alabama take the field. My love affair started in 1992 when my father brought me to the Iron Bowl. Before the game my Dad bought me a seat cushion and during pregame warmups, Coach Gene Stallings walked over and autographed it for me. After that, there was no question where I was going to school and which team I was going to root for. My passion for the University of Alabama is not just a hobby- it's also my career. I work for the University's National Alumni Association. On Saturday's I cheer for the Crimson Tide, but Monday-Friday I set out to serve my Alma Mater and it's wonderful Alumni!
